Keynote or Session:
Turning Discontent Into Empowerment

Teach Your Teams to Leverage Complaints,
and They’ll Solve Your Biggest Problems

Disruption and change are near-constant in workplaces today, and so are casual complaints and conversations about them among colleagues and customers.

We all seem to love talking about what’s not working, and why.

But what if you encouraged those conversations in your leaders and teams to shift from recurring complaints, and instead use them as a baseline to drive toward collaborative solutions and recommendations?

All the solutions to your problems are already there within your leaders and teams-- you just have to empower them to unleash the potential.

They want to know that you want to hear from them, and the discontent will flip to empowerment.

Leaders and Teams in the Audience Will Learn:

  • Research behind why leaders and teams like to complain together.

  • Why it’s good business to turn off the negative culture from complaints that create conflict.

  • 4 Steps to take so employees understand recommendations are valued and welcomed, and start confidently speaking up with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • A 4 Step formula to craft recommendations that drive for ROI-based solutions.

Workshop:
Build A Game Plan to Change the Status Quo at Work

Design Your Custom Path to Avoid a Default Future

Not many employees know how to recommend change effectively without sounding like complainers or squeaky wheels, and they end up feeling stuck and discouraged.

BUT change and disruption are near-constant requirements for continued success in today’s business landscape.

Companies desperately need valuable employee-driven recommendations from insiders who know the day-to-day good and bad.

This workshop empowers employees to consider key changes they want to see in the workplace, then teaches concrete steps to effectively drive toward desired outcomes as they influence management, peers and/ or staff from a sound, ROI-based foundation.

Employees from every level or function can design intentional recommendations and game plan steps, and will be equipped to begin advocating effectively to challenge the status quo, in order to avoid a default future that they—and their company’s leadership teams—might not like.

This actionable workshop will provide audiences with the steps on how to:

  • Evaluate frameworks to consider key changes they want to see in the workplace.

  • Leverage tools and metrics when recommending change to management, peers or teams – including source references for data!

  • Create a written, outlined path forward for recommending change, including first steps on the journey and a set timeline for personal accountability.
